Busy people and travellers may find it inconvenient or impossible to go to general practitioners or to wait for treatment by state health care providers. They may prefer to arrange their own treatment at private hospitals or medical centres, at a time to suit themselves
Maybe you have a problem that you wish to discuss for the first time, or perhaps you want a second opinion before committing to treatment. Maybe you just need a simple reassurance that there is nothing to worry about, but in other cases delay can be critical.

Many people put off seeing a doctor for too long, with the result that serious conditions become more difficult or impossible to treat. Once a problem is diagnosed, tests and scans can then be arranged without delay, sometimes on the spot.
